Who runs an oil catch can?

Default Who runs an oil catch can?

i was thinking of buying one cuz oil leaks keep springing up. does anyone on here run one or just wondering if they do help?

an oil catch can is for the pcv system not oil leaks.....sounds like you need to replace some seals son

yup, the catch can simply stops you from sucking oil into your compressor at boost and then blowing it through the intercooler and making one hell of a mess.

I do and I have NOTHING in my catch can. LOL. Go figure. Thank God is all I can say.

I am wrong but wont a breather fitler on the valve cover work in place of a catch can? :1

If your getting vacume for your pcv system through pre turbo intake than run a catch can so you dont suck a bunch of oily ---- into your turbo. If your venting to atmosphere, you choose, either run a filter on your vc and a turned down rubber tube off your "black box" on back of your block. Or run both to your catch can then have a filter on top.

i havnt ever looked but does anybody know if the back of the block is accessable at the two pcv points for running a catch can without dropping the motor or whatnot....been under the car alot for exhaust purposes but never noticed much room.
