WHO HAS VENOM INJECTORS??? PLEASE HELP ME
 

i got my venom 660cc injectors in today from kevin (projekteg) and i go to install them and they dont fit. they're too long. they wont go up into the fuel rail. are they supposed to sit under the fuel rail? if so then the studs are too short that hold the fuel rail down. the motor is a b16a does anyone know what i can do? please help thanks

take the o ring off on the bottom and they fit perfect. they're universal fit injectors for many applications, so they come with extra o rings that may be needed for other vehicles, but not ours.

does the fuel rail just sit on top of the injector then and not slide on?

Yes! Obviously it slides onto the injectors past the oring. Put some oil on the oring and push it on. If you can't get it. Maybe you can get your little sister to help you. :P

yeah trance. like cs said, put a little oil on the o-ring to make it easier to slide in to the fuel rail. every set i've used has gone in, but if it seems kind of tight, you can always just reuse the o-rings off your stock injectors. the ones on these are a tad bigger, but like i said, they fit, just nice and snug ;)

there is a red cap on the end i know that comes off. there is also a blue cap thing. does that come off too or does that stay on? there is also another type of yellow washer on there. does that stay on?

look ------- if i was looking for smart ass comments i would of asked for them. i have never dealt with injectors before therefore i have a few questions about them. they dont fit right so i'm trying to figure out why not. if your going to help then thank you but if not i dont need the comments i'm trying to get my car running tonight

i took off the rubber o ring on the bottom. the blue cap. and the yellow spacer. i could not for the life of me though get the top of the injector into the fuel rail. are there any other types of smaller o rings i could get that would seal and fit easier into the fuel rail. that o ring is not going into the fuel rail unless there is some type of trick. i tried oil and all to get it in. i also tried putting the fuel rail on top of the injectors and just tightening it down but it leaked. (just wanted to try for my own satisfaction of knowing) anyways if you guys would help i'd really appreciate it. thanks

What do you mean 'if you guys would help' They ARE helping you. Did you try the stock O-rings? Did you take the injectors out of their packaging material? 90% likely we're dealing with a carbon unit failure.

Just a thought. The first time I replaced injectors, I did not realize that a few of the o-rings from the original injectors had come off and stayed inside the fuel rail. so when I tried to put the new ones in, they did not fit because space was being taken up by the old o-rings!

took the injectors to a couple different local shops and found out that they are domestic injectors and do not fit into a honda fuel rail. so kevin if you could return my pm i'd appreciate it and thanks alot guys for the help

Uhh, they wont fit cuz they're domestic? Thats a good reason. It'd make more sense to say 'they dont fit cuz they're the wrong size'. I just have a hard time believing Kevin would sell you something that doesnt fit.

they're not specifically domestic, they're universal. i've personally used 4 sets of these and have a set that's going in my car in just a few days. they don't sit as deep in the fuel rail as stock injectors, but they definitely go in. i just went out to my shed and stuck one in a junk fuel rail i have laying around also and it went right in with some oil on the o ring :-\
