Default Whiterice's D-Series Elephant Manifold (56K...Okay, just thumbnails)

Alright as promised, pics of the new manifold.

Fab work. We made a jig using the old manifold to have the turbo sit in the same spot as before.

Here's Mike fluxing up the jig for the downpipe. We made this using the old downpipe so the new one could be made without having the car around. Worked out great.

The old manifold, AKA Sinktrap.

The mighty downpipe. Tacked with the flux, then half fluxed and half tigged.

The finished product.
We even made a bracket for the egay header, cause well..... (CHING CHONG CHOW......CRACK)

The turbo shown here is a 48/60, since we had to rebuild the T3/T04B one. More pics to come with that turbo. We got lucky on the wastegate, it clears by only an inch on the top and bottom.

Then the POS gasket that came with the header decided to blow out in one day, so we made this steel gasket out of 26 gauge. It came out pretty good after a couple didn't come out so good. Also another shot of the manifold.

That manifold is freakin sweet.

Someone could make a bunch of money if they sold an eBay header top mount extension like this. It looks like it would flow really well and be a cheap alternative.

How much?!?

The top part is from a chinese ebay header. $41 shipped complete.
The only 4-2-1 manifold I have left is from a 2000 ex which the ports and runners are small internally.

Good question. We made a brace that bolts to the block. I might add another one on the opposite side.
