i finally weld on 2.5 straight pipe.... but all the sudden the PSSHH sound is gone... it used to shoot out boost... wut the hell happened? i ran 4.5 psi.... and now i dont hear nothing anymore....

 

do you see any boost at all? check if you have any boost leak on couplers....or maybe your wastegate just took a ---- on you? see if it still holds tension

 

sounds like something broke while you were installing your exhaust.. if anything you should get more of that "PSSHH" with a better exhaust

 

i checked everything.... and the wastegate is new, well its from a super 16b with 10k on it, and my car also back fire here and there, you hear the engine farts once a while, just a little though

 

how is that timing looking?

 

lol you mean you dont get that sound pshhhhhhh sound anymore from the bov at low rpm,but boost is still there.
when i first installed my turbo i had open downpipe, which forces the turbo to spin/work harder thus letting me hear my bov anytime i step or let off the gas . once i put the dp in there it was back to quite, but bov would still sound at higher rpm shifts. check your wastegate if you have one or your vafc pressure to see if its building pressure
