Default Where to feed vacuum line through firewall

For those with 2nd gen CRXs, where did you feed the vacuum line through the firewall? I'm thinking about just going through where the speedo cable is. Are there any better places? Also, I'm pulling out the vents and clock in the center console and planning to use the power for the clock for the light in my boost gauge. Has anyone else done that? I haven't tested the voltage of it yet but plan to tomorrow if I can find my multimeter tonight. Finding ---- after a move sucks.

Depends on where your boost gauge is going to be mounted. I mounted my gauge right in the middle of my dash and routed the signal line through the big grommet on the passenger side (old ac evap core spot) pretty much were I run everything through. If you have a pod there is a grommet on the top side w/ the main wiring harness. get a coat hanger tape up the signal line and shove it down there, you'll see it.
