where did my boost go ???? :(
iam using a ihi rhb5 on my d16z6, ive been runing it on 7 psi and its been sweet for like a month and then yesterdaynite my boost wouldnt go above 4 psi ! and it takes forever to get there . its gets to 4psi and then just stays there on full throttle. i took the mbc off the turbo and still no change. i have no leaks , i check all my clamps , my intercooler is fine, what can it be ?? btw ive still got normal spark plug ( iam about to get a step colder ones ) could it be my exhaust coz ive still not decated my car... my spark plugs are charcoal black with a white tip ( iam guess thats bad ) on my vafc sitting ive got it from -39 across to -37 , iam using 450cc injectors. |

check all your silicone couplers. I had that problem once, and it was on the back side of a coupler.

it cant be my boost gauge because ive got a pressure reading on vafc which is the same as the reading on the boost gauge so i know its not that. ive checked for leaks but i didnt find any, i removed my mbc and took it for a spin and its that same, as in it only goes to 4psi and stays there does'nt get any higher than that. if the wg was open wouldnt i get high psi ? |

Check/change the vacuum source for the wastegate.

pull the line of the wastegate and go for a rip, watch that boost gauge though.

^^ I would try doing that, but REALLY watch the gauge... if it goes over your 4 psi threshold, you've found your problem.

^^^^ i did that and still no difference, still does up to 4psi and stays there. i tired to put the boost lower on the mbc to see wot happens but it still went to 4 psi wtf ! ive got one line runing to my actuator and one to the turbo, i was told that how its done, i hope its right. but it seems my mbc aint even working. o even swaped the lines but still no difference. |
