Where can i get sleeves done?
Is there a certian company that will resleeve my h22 so it can handle boost? and what about ringlands. I guess they go under boost to on the h22? Im suprised that a d16 can handle boost but an h22 cannot. i know the d16 has lower compression but Damn! this sucks im starting to get in to some big $$
how much boost are you planning to boost? 17-20+psi? then it ain't wrth it to sleeve it, if your boosting mildy meaning 6-10psi. I'm sure those h22's can handle that stock. And sleeving cost between 800-1000, theres golden eagle mfg, GE, Benson, Darton, etc,..
It sucks alls i want to do is run 7 psi on my motor and everyone says the ringlands and the sleeves are weak. I didnt want to get this deep in money to run 7 pounds. But when its done the car should be quick.
If your only going to run 7 psi you dont need sleeving, it will be a waste of money. Get some pistons and rods, then turn up the boost to lets say 10 psi with a hack and you will be ok. Also get some good injectors like some RC maybe some 390cc.
