Well im not sure if i should post this in the wanted section or here but i guess here because im asking about where to find it? I have one of those cheap tial imitation wasteagates with a 5 pound wastegate spring and its pushing too much boost now! It will probbaly creep up to like 9 or so psi now! I only want it to be like 7 or 8 psi for now! So im thinking about getting a 3 pound spring and ill be getting my friends mbc so i can pump it up to like 7 or 8. Ive seen the 3 pound spring on ebay but now i can only find the 5 psi ones that i already have? Does anyone know were i can find one?

 

why even put the turbo on

 

you're probably never going to find a 3psi spring. 3psi barely makes up for the exhaust restriction of the turbo itself.

your best bet is to look into why its not holding at 5psi with a 5psi spring.

tear the thing apart, make sure theres no tears in the rubber diaphragm, and tighten up the set screws in the plunger. make sure you aren't using some dinky *** pipe as a dump tube, and try again.

 

Also it's not a good Idea to double the spring rating with a mbc. So you wouldn't want to go to 7-8psi with a 3 pound spring!

 

to get 3 worthless psi u cut the spring accordingly

 

i dont know if you can order them separately, but tial makes a 3.65psi spring. hope it helps
