whats yalls experience with bending the wastegate actuator for boost?
i did that b4 and all it did was make the boost spike higher...what yall get from it...

Re:whats yalls experience with bending the wastegate actuator for boost?
well...thats what bending it is supposed to do...lengthening it would make it boost less

Re:whats yalls experience with bending the wastegate actuator for boost?
lengthening the arm will not decrease boost. You can only increase it.

Re:whats yalls experience with bending the wastegate actuator for boost?
no...think about that...lengthening the actuator rod will hold the gate open, lowering boost

Re:whats yalls experience with bending the wastegate actuator for boost?
true that

Re:whats yalls experience with bending the wastegate actuator for boost?
what you should really do is cut the rod in half and theard both sides and put a long nut on it so you can f-around with the boost levels this os how my set-up and it works great

Re:whats yalls experience with bending the wastegate actuator for boost?
Well, when I clocked my T25 compressor housing it also tightened my wastegate arm. So, I just took a huge prybar and bent the wastegate so it's sitting about .75 inches off the compressor housing. I'm boosting 8psi steadily with only the o2 housing on the turbo and no downpipe. Loud as hell and I love it ;D
