What's the stock turbo on an 88 2.5 Shelby?

My buddy's talking about picking up some kind of 1988 2.5 liter Daytona or Shelby?, and I've been wondering what info anybody's got on the stock factory turbo these things came with.
Idealy, what brand of turbo, or model number, and or what a/r? Did it use a one of a kind odd ball flange or really more of a standard common type flange? The 2.5 not the 2.2.

they are garrett and they suck balls they are over 21 years old and have gay flanges i think.

What are you saying, because the technology is 20 years old they suck, Because it will be tired it will suck? Because I was under the impression they had water cooling on them at least. And they're Garretts? I'm trying to get an idea of what we'll be looking at if we need to replace that unit, any Idea of what Garrett model it was?

look it up man there is a ---- load of information about that car all over the internet. yeah im saying it will be tired and the flanges are gay. its not really a garrett i was only kidding. its the same turbo they used on all the 2.5L chryslers the mhi teo4h. basically what im saying is that it is a shitty turbo its horribly undersized and to work on it you practically have to take the enigne appart

should be a garrett t3 50 trim .43/.48 and its a pretty decent turbo
