Whats a safe amount of boost?
 

Ok, I'm getting ready to put a T-25 on my D15B7 engine. Will it be safe to run the stock psi(what ever that may be), with no internal or external upgrades? Also this is the best godamn website on the net!!

what are you going to use for fuel...that should be about 8-9 psi i think

I was just going to use whats on the car stock. Unless you suggest useing something else.I don't want the gas mileage to go to complete ----, luckly it's a honda and doesnt wiast alot anyways.

You need some type of engine management/fuel upgrade for any turbo application. You cannot safely run the car's fuel system completely stock. Cheapest way to go is just buying an FMU and run stock injectors and fuel pump, but don't run more than 7 psi like that. Now If you want anything more up to maybe 10-12 psi the cheapest safe way is with the apexi AFC and injector hack. There's more info on management in the engine management forums.

You dont really need fuel management until you get around 15 pounds of boost. Your car comes stock with an FMU but Honda rarely makes full use of them. Go to a Honda tech. and ask him to calibrate your FMU for you, 12:1 should be ok for 15 pounds. Since you are beefing up your FMU you will need to down size your injectors or you will flood your exhuast bearing, dont want to do that. Make sure the tech. also checks the Flex Capasitor for the correct amound of gigga whatts. What I just said was complete bull ----. Dont pay attention to it. If you use the stock setting on the T25 actuator you will be running between 8 and 10 pounds. Now, like most all the other posts in the engine management section have stated, you WILL need some type of fuel management. Mainly, injectors, fuel pump, and some way to controll this added fuel. IE: VAFC, Hondata, etc... DONT use your stock setup or you will not make it 2 miles from your house before ---- hits the fan. And yes, you can kiss that good fuel consumption that hondas are known for goodbye.
