I want to run low boost to be safe I want to be faily reliable on the dx engine. When i get my d16z6 i well run more boost and my goal will be 200hp but thats next year...

this is what you want then to meet your goals or you can go a bit smaller with a 42/48

7 psi? 42/48 is mint. I run one and its good for street use build boost early and is smooth.

i run a td04L (13g i think) from wrx...it's been good so far, quick on the street, instant boost, and pulls, but doesn't pull as strongly in the top end.

making the switch to t3 .48/.60 soon.

Isn't stock boost on a 14b 9psi? Can you set that lower?

whats better a t3 or 14b at 7psi and y? soryy but i think 170hp would be a beter goal. but 4 now im just going to run low boost on the dx engine.

T3 would be better simply becuase if you dont like the 60/48 then you can just swap out for a smaller t3 and it'll bolt right up without any modifcations. You can make 170whp on a 42/48 with some tuning @ 7-8psi. and that spool will be fast

if i were you i'd get the 60/48 it'll make good power and spool a little bit later which is nice to have vs. super instant power.

the .42/.48 is similar in size to the tdo4L which i've gotten 193whp out of it and probably still good for 210whp. the .60/.48 will be good for that at lower psi and able to get more whp as you crank up the psi...250whp easy...maybe 300whp, but that might be a pipe dream.

i bought a 14b... im hoping to boost 8-10psi on a stock d16z6 90k w/ 450cc injectors bigger pump/fpr and uberdata shooting for 200-220whp... do you think this is realistic? i saw someone on here with a 14b stock injectors i think they used vafc i donno they got 180whp 180 tq...

let me know if you think ill be able to reach these goals..
