whats the fastest on a homemade t-25 kit?

juss wondering how fast u guys with t-25s have gone. my best is a 13.1 at 103 at 2075 pounds and 11-12 psi. the purpose of this post is to see if theyre still more left with this turbo or is that as fast as its gonna get on a D series.

i've heard of a guy in hig-mid 12's on a t25 at 13-15 lbs in a hatch that was gutted. but i don't know the legitimacy of the story.

john force runs 3.9's on a T25 D-series with a stock bottom end right? or maybe it's a 14b?

WTF??? 3.9s, and I thought John Force raced a mustang funny car??? Anyway don't know about times but 14-15 psi is all your gonna get outta the t-25 boost wise, but power is only part of a fast car. Put it on a diet, work on the drivetrain(final drives, limited slips or spools, gear sets, clutches, slicks, etc. ), and/or work on your suspension.Traction bars(they do make them for FWD, but I think they have a different name), spring rates, and damper rates will help you keep that power and your wheels planted to the ground. You could also optimize your shift points with plots of your power curve. Yeah you can always make your car faster. You never really reach the limit to how fast it can go. However you might reach the safe limit or you bank account limit.

no, it's not. 2g's run 12 psi stock. UICP and you're hitting 14 psi at the IM. then remove the BCS restrictor and...well i run 18 psi on my 2g GSX daily driven and it ------- pulls....

I agree with mike, my buddy's gsx t25 can handle upwards of low 20's (pounds) before giving out inefficient wise. Most ppl oversize their turbo's on this site. I don't understand why, I drive a 7.9litre turbo deisel (for work) with a smaller turbo then I've seen on some 1.6litre honda's. If a 2000cc engine can produce around 300 hp with turbo your D could prolly do the same.

But in terms of the post, what have you done with your engine. If it's stock, you might be getting close to max power levels. Although you can run 20 pounds on a stock D-series with AMAZING management. And that would be for a run or two definitely not something you would do daily.

I saw a sleeved B16 run 42 pounds once. The guy had more money in computers then the rest of the car was worth though. Is it worth it to yourself though?

If you think your motor can handel it the turbo will be fine up to 14-15 pounds. which should give you a little more power to win races against others. (read your post)

I ran a 13.7 @ 106 in a 1g crx with a ZC T25, VX mani, adapter "tube", obviously on street tires. Oh this was on 9psi.

Re:whats the fastest on a homemade t-25 kit?

Yes on a dsm it will run 12psi stock. Dsm's have a solenoid that offsets the wastegate. The wastegate itself is set to 7-8 psi.
