whats best turbo for D-series
 

probally the millionth time you guys answered this but what is a recomended turbo for a Y8 civic? i am running a t3 off of an older saab(want to stick with a t series), and would like to upgrade..every kit seems to have a t3t4..isnt that a bit big? would a T3 super 60 work out good? . i was going to rebuild the Saab, but realized for a few bucks more i can buy a new one. mostly street driven..my custom system includes a FMIC, Bov. i have also installed DSM injectors and resistor box. just waiting for my SMC plus to arrive to see how it works out,thanks

hows the saab t3 working out for yah??imma bout too put one on my dx(y7)..anyhow for the t3/t4's i'd wait till yah get a swap..or if you arent getting a swap dont get a high trim...youll have alot more lag then with the t3 thats for sure 8)

what kinda psi are u runnin? i am in the process of buildin my custom t3 setup, and i am interested how urs is runnin.

the T3 seems to work out good, i was running 9 psi( it would easily go more) with it thru a starion intercooler..with an FMU, check valves, BBK pump..i never had any problems with it..but i wanted to upgrade ..so i rebuilt all my charge lines, bought a new FMIC from Ebay (Boostcoolers has AWESOME intercoolers,at killer prices) my Civic would get up and go with the old setup..but i feel a diff turbo is needed, i know a guy with a F max kit with the t3t4 and my homekit was quicker (lot less lag) but when his spooled up it hit alot harder..as soon as my SMC gets here ill see how that turbo works with my new lines. Larger intercooler. if i stick with a T3 ..go with the super 60?
