Whats the best low comp pistons and rods too get?

Hey was wondering? Im about too be building my first sohc beast! I was trying too get some opinons on some turbo pistons. I think Im goin too get crower rods. So everybody leave your opinon and exprience. I have a 90 si with rod bearing messed up. So im getting a 91 si from a friend with 110,000 miles on it. What else would you recommend doing to the block why I have it out the car? This is my summer project and Im goin too be taking my time so I do it right the FIRST time. Im going with T-25 or T-28 because of the spool time. Was thinking about a T-3. But my car application is strictly for street use I'll never be goin too the track. So thats why I figured a T25,T28 would be better for my application. Well Thanks in advance for all the help.

Get it sleeved. If you are doing it right and you are taking your time, just get it sleeved.

Why is it that you think a T3 isn't right for your application? If you are planning on building a motor and using aftermarket forged components then I would think you are planning on running over 10 psi. Are you sure a T25/T28 is going to do the job at high rpm and boost? I would rethink your plan a little.

crower rods are way pricy man... i would use eagle rods.

if your gonna drop that much cash into a motor why not go b series? because theres only a certain point u can go with a d series.

use the T3.

um only reason I didnt go B-Series is its alot more cash. I can get a d series around 300. If it blows Im not out of 1500$. This is my first turbo project and I know its not going too go smooth the first time so basically this is a learning project and maybe next time Ill go ls after I've learned a bit about turbos. And tuning a sohc non vtec is pretty cheap on the dynos and thats what I want. I mean I know 1 or 2 people runnin ls turbos right now and they never have the cash too tune it right so they get beat by cars there not suppose too get beaten by. Im not the type of person that wants a 11 sec street car Im just going for 13's an all around nice quick street car for them traffic jams lol
