Default what will this do to psi level

the wastegate is on a 14b i had to rotate the compressor housing to fit the turbo. so when i rotated it the wastgate flapper opened up about [_____] that much and stayed open so i added washers to keep the flapper closed. now im just wondering what the side effects will be from doing this?

will full boost still be 8psi i was thinking since the arm has moved farther out that it has to effect the level somehow.

if it stays close at this point and you can pull the wastegate with flapper to open up as it would on air then you would be fine.
