Default What weight of oil to use

I did a search and nothing came up. Just want to see what everyone uses for oil. I've heard of guys using from 5w30 to 20w50. Also does anyone run conventional oil over synthetic. May sound stupid to use conventional but just curious to see if anyone is using it.

I use castrol Syntec 10w30.

the lower the first number the better the oil performs at low temps

the higher the second number the better the oil performs at high temps.

i used mobil 20 w50. its cheap ----. its like a buck 29 a quart. i think the fully synthetic stuff is better but it costs too much. so i figured i just change my oil more often

Is it true that when you use 20w50 it's better for the turbo itself but harder on the engine and the opposite for 5w30? Please don't flame it's just what I hear.

20w50 is easier on bearings than really low weight oil at high temps
