What turbo
ok.. if some1 were to attempt to RETAIN AC in an EF (88-91) civic/crx what turbo would be ideal?
|
Re:What turbo
a/c isn't so much dependent on the turbo as it is the manifold and downpipe. just ditch the a/c, it doesn't get hot in canada.
|
Re:What turbo
gets just as hot here as it does in NC kevin...
ya i know the manifold is a the main part for ac clearence. but what turbo positions the inlets/outlets best? mainly i guess would be the compressor outlet. downpipe will be custom off of the flange.. it will be made to fit. |
Re:What turbo
you can clock and rotate any turbo to fit how you need. with a suitbable turbo for your engine, you will have no problems with clearing the a/c depending on your manifold.

Re:What turbo
how bout an IHI RHB5 ? d16a6
ya i know i can rotate/clock a turbo... but ive seen some turbos that have the compressor outlet go out sideways.. like a 90* bend. |

Re:What turbo
ya only lookin for 6-8psi.. d16a6.
anyone got pics of one of these things..? |
Re:What turbo
i'd go with a .48/.60 t3 if your gonna make a custom manifold, you can make it fit.
