The car is a 92 civic si hatch with a jdm b18c motor with an lsd tranny. Turbo is a garret 48/60 internal wastgate , greeddy inetrcooler with 2" end tank piping I am go to fabricate the ic piping myself. I was wondering what u guys thought for material (I have a mig welder) and also what size piping? The coonectors for the piping will be purchased from home depot what do u guys think?

I'm curious to know where to get piping from myself. I've read that you should use 2" from turbo to IC and 2.5" from IC to Throttle Body.
Anybody know where to get piping in the North Florida area?

Other way around , when its 2.5" from turbo then 2" into throttle body air is forced in

So far thats the best deal i know of, since you have a welder your all set. As far a couplers, i would just go to napa and get a 2.5" straight radiator hose, use your chop saw to cut out couplers ;D

just make sure the size he advertises is just that.

I got the 2" kit from that guy, but the piping was not 2"...its more like 1 and 7/8 :(

I dont know if i wanna use it. I tried sending an email to see if i can get the next biggest size, but he hasnt answered yet. I'll try to send him another one.

go at least 2.5 in. All that talk about big charge piping making you laggy is pretty much bullshit

Not saying you're wrong because I haven't researched this topic. But if it takes more air to fill the charge piping (which would be the case with wider pipes), wouldn't it take longer to get to any given boost level? Just like anything, takes less time to fill a smaller volume.

agreed. use 2.5inch piping on both sides. I've read that some guys make 20whp more going to 2.5inch than 2.0inch. besides... your TB is about 2.5inch's big so why in hell use a pipe that's smaller....?
