I just followed what my IC dimensions were. 2.25" in, 2.5" out. No point in running 3" to the IC, then have it pinched to 2.25".....

True, that's why most people ( including myself recently) modify starion ICs b/c the inlets and outlets are only 1.5'' in and out.

If I were you, I would run 2" from turbo to IC, 2.25" from IC to throttle. Period. You don't need 2.50" or over for that low boost.

Because the bend radius is larger with 2 45's than a 90.The idea is to make any bend as gradual as possible. You guys are thinking geometry, not so in pre bent piping. The over all radius is the key.

If I were smarter I'd understand that. :o I guess that makes more sense to me now. I don't know how much that would really affect air flow or performance though. :-\ Mayeb if we were pushing like 400whp and every little tiny bit helped? ???

yeah but the air is gonna have to go throught two bends if its 2 45's,but if its one 90 it only has to go through one ;D

J/K ur probably right for sum reason that i cant comprehend yet...

Mandrel bent piping.

Why would you use a flat 90 degree bend? I'm trying to understand.

It is a universal effect.Doesn't matter what horsepower u have. Its like turboingyour car and leaving on the stock exhaust.Restriction is restriction. All this info comes out of Corky Bell's book"Maximum Boost".It's all about efficiency. Why make the turbo work harder than it has to.If you do then you just get more heat not power

Ok, but how much loss would you really be getting from that? Not enough to even think about. :-\
