Default what should I get

I've been extensively researching turboing a d16z6 in a 92-95 civic ex, collecting a few parts on the way. I've found some cars but in the process i've come across two (94 and 95) vtec preludes that are in my budget. There are plentiful parts and available info on turboing a d16 but I don't know a lot about turboing h22's. I was planning on using uberdata for fuel management and am unsure if it will work on h22s. Is it a lot harder to turbo a h22 and is it a lot different than d16s? I think i'll have to get a new turbo if i go h22 because the one I have is a t3 with a trim of 42/48 (i think). I planned on running 10 psi on a d16, what should I run a h22 on to make considerable power? Keep in mind this will be my first turbo project. Should I go turbo d16 or h22?

I'm working on my first turbo project, and despite spending alot of money on my built D16y8, if I blow it up, it's very replaceable. The parts, the motors are all cheap. The H22 is more expensive and will make you madder when you blow it up. Plus, I think I've heard the h22 isn't all that good for boost. But you'll have to talk to the HMT guru's for that info.

The best part is, your taking the smallest "buildable" honda motor and making something of it. B series is taking a corvette and making it faster. D series is taking a crx and making it just as fast. Which is more impressive to you?

all u have to do is bore and hone your sleeves, buy your oversized pistons, file fit your rings, and put the ---- together.

Here is my first post and it might actually yield some info on the h22 4th gen prelude sleeves (FRM)
