What this part called?
The ring that holds the two parts of the turbo together, you know the one that has two halves and you use a bolt to clamp it down tight? What's it called and where can I get it? And how much does that sucker cost.

Try a search for Dohicky, or a Whatchamacallit ;) You may get somewhere there. I asked the question of what that was called a while ago, on another forum, noone knew what it was..

Re:What this part called?
It's a V-clamp .... I think
A C-clamp is something else...I have one here and my turbo also uses that V-clamp thingy |
Re:What this part called?
Are you talking about the 2 half circles that hold the exhaust housing to the chra? Or is it in fact a single V-band clamp like every else seems to believe?
|
Re:What this part called?
It's the 2 half circles that are hinged on one end and have a bolt and threaded retainer on the other end. It holds the center section to the exhaust housing. What's it called damn it! Where do I buy it?
