what oil to use

Re:what oil to use
last oil change i did i used 15w 40w mobil 1 synthetic, it got black and thin in less than 2000 miles. i check the oil
rather than going by milage for when to change it. this time i put in walmart brand 20w-50w cause the synthetic was a rip off and it looked like crap after less than 2000 miles. guess oil gets older quicker in a boosted car.
edit:i live in south florida and it's a hotter climate than up north where you'd need 5w-30w oil. the 20w-50w seems to work better, i can even hear the turbo spool louder after i did the oil change.

i always run castrol gtx, or syntec if im feeling rich, or sometimes the blend, but always 10w30.
we usually get about 80 degreee summers with some hotter days up to 100, and winters are pretty cold, it snows like 1 week a year if we're lucky.

Re:what oil to use
if you live in a hotter climate, only run synthetic oil
mobil1 15w-50w. i ran walmart supertech 20-50w and it absolutely sucked. synthetics the way to go. but a good oil like castrol non-synthetic will work good too.
