what materal you use for manifolds???
 
what thickness you guys use for your manifolds?? i just got some 304/SS schedule 40 ans ---- this ---- is heavy....

so what you use? 10 or 40?

I used 40 for mine and 10 for Jordan's I would only use 10 now.

schedule 10 has a wall thickness of .109"

OD = 1.9
ID = 1.682

And 1/16th of an inch is .062", so this stuff is just over 3/32" thick, PLENTY. schedule 40 is just a waste of your chopsaw blades. in perspective, ROLLCAGES only require .120" wall mild.

10 is the way to go... as fook said, your just wasting your chop saw blades with 40. Sch 10 is hard enough to cut as it is.

i picked up 13 90's today from a local shop 1 1/2 inch 316L sch 10 for $ 7.14 cnd im gonna give it a shot and see if i can make it myself
