so far the past 2 times ive run cherry bombs on my turbo hondas and they sound pretty shitty plus they arent too quite when its just 2.5" and just the cherry bomb.

im looking to go with a turbo muffler, probably a thrush since my local advance auto stocks them.

what do you **** run?

yeah, i took jon's advice for my civic... it was super quiet. on my g20 i had 2.5" with a 2.5" cherry bomb, i liked it. now i have a 240, and it had 2.5" with a 5" can, which sounded terrible, i just put a 2.5" thrush muffler on from advance... while its pretty close, i do have to say i liked the cherry bomb better. i know its a bigger motor, but to me the thrush sounds louded and raspier than the cherry bomb.

*** both include stickers for your rear windshield *** so the real question is... which sticker is cooler?

Always run some kind of pre-muffler (resonator). I like Borla (#2), and Aeroturbine (#1).

The longer the resonator & more restrictive the turbo. The less raspy your engine will sound.

 

i just picked up a magnaflow for my 3" tubing kit on my d16. straight through and it was only 65 shipped.

not sure how it'll sound. if its too loud i plan on using a dynomax race muffler as a resonator.

Dynomax ultraflow, same thing as the summit turbo mufflers. can't be beat.

 

Who is running the Summit turbo muffler? How does that sound and how is the performance? I just brought one
and just wondering how the flow of things are?

I run a cherry bomb to a Dynomax turbo muffler. Doesn't sound too bad. The vibrations in my car make more noise than the exhaust.
