holes on top and bottom are oil lines.

holes in back and the one up front with the barb fitting, are for coolant. run coolant from IACV lines or something to them if you wanna liquid cool your turbo and extend life...or just ignore them.

hold the phone fellas

I am a nooby. I just finished my first turbo-LX450
my used t4 garet turbo has only oil lines but had plugs where wayer cooling would be. Can I pull the plugs and run water cooling lines? are they pre-threaded?

Yes...most of the time they are threaded. If this is a daily driver I would recommend water cooling it. It will extend the life of the turbo considerably. If you choose not to water cool it. Let it idle a little bit (mabe a minute or so...) before you shut it down, espessially if you were driving hard and boosting alot, it reduces the chance of the oil baking inside the turbo...
