What The Hell Is This For?
To big for a EGT
To small for a Wastegate
Not threaded for EGR and the alloy steel doesnt look like it was stock. Obviously the exhaust housing is cast, but the "bung" appears to be SS
Beats me

aftermarket.
its a t3 t04e, 57 trim, .60/.63AR it was bought brand new and had less than 1 mile put on it cuz it was only used for test fitting purposes, after he finished test fitting w/ it, it was sent back to garrett and checked again since hes got a connection w/ garrett. w/ receipt, paperwork, and warranty w/ garrett and everything he wants $340.
any ideas what to plug it with?

well i talked to the guy and it was used as a wastegate port. he said "the bung led to a threaded pipe that dropped the
wastegate down to bottom" and that if didnt want to use it i could just unscrew the 'bung' and plug it with a brass fitting or something that could take the heat.
any ideas what to plug it with? for the price its a steal....
