my turbo blew apart. :P exhast wheel came right off the damn shaft






and my new turbo came in. t3 60trim .48cold .63hot got it from blaastperformance, great serivce and really fasst shipping.





im in the process of putting it in, almost everything bolts right up,

welds look nice. what happened when the turbo snaped?

 

was it a cdm turbo?

 

well i was on the highway going about 200+ when the turbo stated to whine like a super charger, then about 10min later it started to make clunking noises followed by a mass amount o smoke. and the turbo vas a volvo td04hl-15g

 

Well this is where I would make a ford joke on ya but my engine blew first

Is the shaft seized?

Didn't this just happen to someone else on here as well?

Must be the season for blowing turbos.
