what guage metal do i use to weld endtanks?
 
Hey is 16 guage sheet metal a bit thin for endtanks on an intercooler? how thick should the endtanks be?

Or do i use Aluminum for the endtanks?

aluminum man.. your chiller is alum and you need to use the same metal.. 3/32" should be good

machine shops or welding shops.. i have some T6061 plate aluminum here i could sell you if you cant find any

I just called a metal sheet company. And it goes for 3X3 ft/$30. That's damn expensive. :o

Nevermind, that is just one company. Other company sells for 1 lbs/ 50 cents.
