What filter do you recommend

Default What filter do you recommend

I was wondering what air filter everybody recommend. Turbo specifically but either or which have you had better luck with.

no filter this is what most people use...


anything will work just fine. you pay for what you get. of coarse a $65 K&N is probably the best, unless you are gonna get some greddy or something dumb like that...

ive heard that if you put a filter on it will quiet down the spool

I have a K&N, I care about my turbo.
Running without a filter is another way of saying "I don't care if my turbo craps out"

just use a piece of 45degree tubing the same width of your turbo inlet and filter. for filter, easiest and safest is a autozone cone filter in the ricer section.

i use the hks mushroom looking one that green....i like it because it makes a really i mean really high pitch sound when spooling...

are those mushroom filters less restrictive then the cone paper element ones?

The screen will still let small particles through, and be more restrictive than a proper filter by the way.
These small particles sand down the compressor wheel over time.
