Doing this for my gf. Going custom because I have a greddy kit and I told her that she is better off going custom. This is one of the very few manifolds that keep a/c. Here in hawaii we need it so she won't settle for a hf or std manifold. Your opinions please.

Yes, custom kit is the best way to go, you will say to yourself "why did I buy this overpriced greddy" after your g/f's car beats yours.

Research that manifold, find out what you can find on it.

What car is this going on? It is possible to use a del sol a/c bracket to relocate for use of the condensor.. there was a recent post done in the hybrid forum on it, also H-T. Look into it

Manifold looks like an ordinary manifold to me... maybe you can get a nice custom manifold from BmC in the classifieds. Heard good stories about those.

lol....i would get a bmc manifold for the price, but i heard that they don't clear the a/c. The one i sent the url said it clears the a/c. The thing is that it comes with a 1 year warranty. Kinda gets me paranoid that after 1 year that sucker would crack. But neway, thanks for all the info.

This is going on a 99 Civic EX btw.

What would you choose a t25 from a mitsu or a T3 with an a/r of .42/.48? She probably won't be going past 8 psi since for fuel management she'll be using my greddy blue box because i'm running the hack.

its not even a complete manifold...you still have to cut the hole and weld it up

that's what i don't get. From the pics it looks like there's a standard t3 flange on it. All I would need would be a t3 turbo and the t3 flange and some bolts right?

i would diy but i'm in the process of getting a welder. I'm only going to get one that can mig because i'm only taking classes to learn how to mig. I can only mig and arc. Could I mig stainless steel and aluminmum?

it comes in 2 different parts. One part is just the piping welded to the head flange, and the other is a square welded to a t3 flange. you gotta cut a hole in the piping, and weld the square/flange to the piping yourself. pretty ghey IMO, and if you're gonna put half it together anyway you might as well do the other 8 welds and save $150

i bought one a year ago, i didnt end up using it, but lets just say ya know who the burger king comecricals make the burgers look all pretty and good, and ya get them and they are slopped togeather, kinda like that when i got mine

why dont u give your girl the greddy and u go custom. better for u so she's not faster than you IMO. give your gurl a/c and you just sweat your ass off under the sun. but hey look at it this way. atleast you'll be faster

originally that's what i wanted to do. that way i can get a t3 super 60. But she told me no because she knows that i've raced with it on occassion and that it has a lil over 10k on it. But i told her, i changed oil every 1000 miles or less with mobile 1 fully syenthetic. Check my turbo for shaft play every weekend. But still she rather get her own. I don't think she's looking for plenty of power, she just needs something that'll give kick to the car. So just trying to get her more low and mid power.
