What do you do about smog? I know that homemadeturbo's arent exactly smog lega, and im assuming not all of you drive your cars without insurance and registration so can you tell me what you do? I currently have a JDM DOHC ZC swap i will have to get smogged in december, and i want to do a homemadeturbo project.

So please, just tell me what you do about smog and where u live. Im in the great state of extreme emissions testing, California.

well since cali sucks (no offense) for smog ---- you will have to take the turbo kit off the car to smog it, i live in nevada and i know that cali is 2 times as strict on smog.....

I cant even smog it with my motor that i have in i think. JDM DOHC ZC in a 89 civic hatchback. Guess my only option is going to be to use my friend Justin's guy that he pays 200 bucks to smog the car no matter what.

Ya, cali is suppost to have a visual inspection. But some places dont really check, ill just have to wait til December and decide what to do . Parents arent going to let me turbo until im 18 in october anyway, so ill just wait another 2 months til after i get car smogged. ------- gay ----
