Re:what do i need
Start by reading everything you can. Then order one part at a time. Do research and find out what part is going to be best for your application and what price range you have to stay in. There are 10,000,000 little stupid things you will need to turbo your car. Start with the main parts and work your way down to the small stuff.

Re:what do i need
ok i read FAQ and it helped some.
now i stil have a few more questions, if you don't mind ok so i found a turbo very cheap it's from a ford/mazda 2.2turbo. It is a whole car and i know the turbo work. me question is whould i need to buy any other parts, other then some hoses, brass T , and maybe Engine Management of some kind. I already have the boost gague, and a/f gague. and i need to make a custom manifold and down pipe right? also i was told this turbos are around 8 psi, is that right? |
Re:what do i need
The turbo from the Mazda should be just fine. If I remember correctly others have used those too. As far as parts, you'll need:
Oil feed line Oil return fitting for oil pan brass tee(1/8in npt thread to?)for oil out of block will probably need manifold and d-pipe built injectors(450 dsm) AFC That's some of the bigger stuff. Hope that helps a little. |
