LOL.

Check your first charge pipe and see if it has oil in it.

Just buy some new seals (technicaly called o-rings), a thrust bearing, and a pair of journal bearings and pop them in. Make sure you scribe a line and you should be fine. G-Pop sells MHI rebuild parts individualy so you don't have to buy a whole kit. It's like $60 shipped for new seals and those 3 bearings. Oh yes, get some new piston rings while you're at it too because they're $8 for both. You'll prolly need a new heat sheild that goes between the center section and the exhaust wheel too because on 14b's they're eroded most of the time. I rebuild MHI turbos on a weekly basis and let me tell you, drop those new parts in, clean up all the coking, and your turbo will be as good as new. If there is a bunch of shaft play or the wheels have contacted the housing then I'd reccomend a dynamic balance to save it from ------- up too soon after the freshening up.

ooops. :o
looks like you're making people think that balancing a rotating assembly is required only when the wheels have rubbed?

Not at all. I said if there wasn't a bunch of shaft play or contact wasn't made then you can sometimes get away with the old scribe trick. Here's what I'm basing my info off of.
http://www.gpopshop.com/balancing.html

You have to keep in mind you have a full service turbo shop and can balance anything at will. Some of us don't want to spend $65+shipping for a balance if we can get away with out it. Especially on a ------- 14b rofl.
