If you got a plain 'F22B' (i.e. not F22B1 or F22B2) its got a DOHC head which is very similar to a H23 head.

Actually there's two version of the f22b head, a USDM f22b is a sohc vtec and JDM f22b head is a dohc non-vtec.

The JDM f22b is a DOHC non-vtec, about the same flow characteristics of the h23 head.
