Default WG project a success

ok I have a boosted b18c and because of the high CR I can only run like 4-5 psi and that’s hard when the waste gate on the turbo is set to 9psi. I tried just moving the wg so the flapper was open a little to the point that it toped out at my wanted boost but I didn’t build boost till 5000 so ---- that.

so what I did was cut open an old wg I had sitting around. it was set to around 9 psi too. once I got it open I just cut the spring down that was in side so there wasn’t as much presser on it when I welded it back together. and what do you know it worked I start building boost under 2300 and hit full around 2800 and it stop right be4 5psi

yeah 12 psi with 10.5-1 compression sounds more like a bomb then a motor

i dont see how thats so ignorant. the motor is all stock and has to last me for a few years. i know that if you tune it right you can run boost like that but all i can do right now is a little street tuning so for me i would say 12 is dangerous for my motor

as for fmu i have dsm 450s chipped ecu tuned with crome. i dont have the tuning tools my buddy does so i dont have a lot of time to run around tuning
