WG Pressure settings, crack and full open?

I am in the process of trying to design new springs for my wastegate. I have an egay one and an internal, and thought of running both with the external wg venting to atmosphere, but having it on a solenoid so i could turn it on and off.

Anyways, I work for a spring R&D place, we do mostly valve springs but have the capability to do pretty much anything. I was going to make some custom springs for my application, if anyone is interested in a certain PSI for an egay one, i will be coiling a LOT of them, so tell me what you want and i will heat set it to the right pressure.

But there is my question. What pressure is the actual pressure of turbocharger operation, assuming that I hook the WG directly upto the compressor housing? Which is more important to focus around, the pressure at which the WG starts to open (crack psi) or the pressure at which it is wide open? Is it somewhere in the middle? I am just going to be hooking it up to shop-air on a pressure regulator to test the WG with various springs that i coil.

Any help is appreciated.
