Default Werid Boost

Ok, i have a t3 4248 with external wastegate, i bought the wastegate from ssac so i have no idea if what the psi is set at, but i have a MBC, so this MBC is almost all the way turned in, and im not seeing any boost in first gear, and about 5 psi in second gear and about 7 in third gear, Sound Weird?
Uberdata p28, im thinkin it might have to do with the MBC, maybe its messed up, cuase if its tuned in almost all the way this thing so sopose to be adjustable to 30psi? What do you think?

Pull the WG vaccum line and go see if it builds boost. Don't be an idiot and smash the gas like a monkey then watch it blow your motor at 23psi. Just do that so you can rule out the MBC. Or if you know the stock WG psi setting just run a vaccum line with no MBC and make sure it hits 3.83psi in every gear. You better do that, because I can just see it now.....

Next thread reads "Car sounds like a WRX after overboost....normal" Ahhhh, I hope someone went with you to watch the boost gauge, because I'd really hate to see you overboost that car. Kinda making me nervous.

Using the lower port of the ext. wg?
Remove the mbc and run the line to the wastegate.
Most likely it's the mbc. What kind do you have?

He had a similar thread already in which he was corrected to run to the lower port and shown how to properly run a ball and spring style MBC.

Did you remember to put in the fire ring for the wastegate?

If it's not the MBC and you remembered to put the fire ring in the wastegate then it kinda sounds like you have a massive boost leak. check all of you plumbing and make sure no pipes blew apart.
