Went to the Dyno today
 

Well, went to Polk performance this morning (in Bryant Arkansas) for a dyno day. I was pretty pleased with my numbers. I put down 186.6whp and 170.1wtq. I picked up about 10hp from tuning. Pretty cool. FYI it's a T3 .42/.48 @ 9-10psi on an AFC hack w/ RC 440s. It's a stock block d16y8. Don't worry about the hole in the dyno, they were having dyno tach problems. I will have the videos up in the next day or so.

a d16 making 186 at the wheels. that is pretty high. i was hoping my 95 accord vtec would making like 180 at the wheel. ater seeing your d16, i think my accord can make 180 now. after i go to hondata and get rid of my damn fmu then i will to dyno too. hoping to hit 200 whp

Nice numbers man....I hoping to hit 200 hp at the wheels with a Boosted ZC in a EG when I get the EG ;D. That's just for the time being until i get my B16 ready ;)

I made 204WHP with my SOHC, there's plenty of people making more than this with their SOHC.

On a small turbo no less. swapping a .60/63 on my Sohc soon ( 8.4/1 compression ).

Some Sohc guy on H-T made like 206whp @ 6psi using the .60/.63 garrett.

Thanks guys. I'm not sure about the detonation thing. It's really just about how much smoothing the dyno computer has on. Mine was on medium on that printout. It can be smooth as butter or crazy jagged. I also drive there with no det. and we pulled 2 more degrees of timing.

Hp numbers like this make me know its worth all that damn hard work, busted knuckles, scraped elbows, smashed fingers and ----

Oh yeah for sure....I want to get at least 170 hp at the wheels from this D15B2...I'm currently doing a DPFI->MPFI swap on it....It needs some torque bad....but it lights up the tires in de first gear pretty easy..didn't expect that 8)
