Weird wastegate setup...will it work?

usually those manis are used with internal wastegates in order to keep it cheap and simple.

I wanted to go with an internal wastegate but my exhaust housing has too many cracks in it for it to work with one. If this don't work I'll figure something out ;) My hood might look like it has a hard-on though :P

my cars been smased a few times and always has a hard on now

i also think that my 95 engine with my ef9 hood is a bad idea.

is the flange for the wastegate on the adapter plate? between the turbo and manifold? if so, that will work. Alot of MR2 guys mount the wastegate there with good results.
