Default Weird Turbo Timer Situation

ok originally i had a greddy turbo tmer in my civic and it worked just fine. after selling it and then picking up a blitz turbo timer, i wired it using the same wires and it doesnt quite work.. heres what it does;

cars running turn key off, engine shuts off, then the turbo timer starts coutning down even though the engine is off... now recently when i replaced my radiator fan i blew the fuse, the fuse is for the rear defroast and cooling fain etc.. But while the fuse was blown/out, the turbo timer magically works like it suppoesed to by running the car, counting down and then shutting it off..

what the hell? any thoughts? once i replaced the coolingfan/rear defrost fuse, the turbo timer stopped working correctly.

Just don't do panty rippers before pulling into your driveway or sit in it and idle for a minute or two, ---- a turbo timer.
