watercooled turbos?

I am new to the whole junkyard kit, and was wondering how hard it will be to run watercooled turbo if its possible at all. I bought a T bird t3 turbo. I helped a buddy on his 14b project, but no idea about the watercooled turbos.

Anything is possible! You can even run a watercooled turbo without hooking up the water lines (although it is recommended and what have you got to loose??)......You can get coolant to the turbo from the lines going to the throttlebody by using a "T" and which way the water flows does not matter.

That doesn't really make sense.

Just expand the "circuit" of coolant from the head to include the turbo. Doesn't really matter where. Easiest is usually from the TB heating lines.

Watercooing is just an added bonus I personally like it and run it on my setup. My water temps never get over 195* tops so I know that it's allways cooling the turbo. Some people say not o use it cause it runs hot water throught the turbo, welp the water is a lot cooler than the 2200* combustion temps.

thanks guys, really appreciate the help. Going to order my manifold and adapter plate tonight, and I haver a new clutch, and motor mounts waiting to go in. I am running it on a 89 civ si with the stock a6, original stock internals with 149,xxx on the clock. In anticipation of this disaster that is my motor becoming destroyed, I also have LS rods and vitaras pistons sitting in my garage as well. hopefully i can make some decent numbers with the built motor. on stock internals, i only plan on running 6-7 psi since I want my motor to go cleanly so the block is salvagable.
