water and oil cooled turbo question

Default water and oil cooled turbo question

i got a turbo off a probe and i wanted to know if i have to use the water lines also or is oil good enough are there any bad things that will happen if i dont use the water lines and if i have to use them where do i have to tap the water feed and drain from ?

i would recommend connecting the coolant lines...it'll prolong the life of your turbo and reduce the idle time before shutting down.

as for where to tap them find the coolant line at the throttlebody area...check the projects page or the faq thread.
