Default water line question

will tapping the places circled in the picture be good for my water lines? i pulled the lines off, and coolant came out, so i would think they'd be alright. im just wondering if these line only get water part of the time, or if they get water all the time.

no they get water all the time. they are for warming up the throttle body. when you connect the coolant lines you can sorta squeeze them and feel water flowing through the lines.

if thats a good place to tap from, where is a good place for the drain. is it gravity or is there some pressure in there? could you just dump into your over flow tank?

It's pressurized, so you can cut one of those throttlebody lines in half, run one end to the turbo, and then run the drain from the turbo back to the other end of the line you cut. Think of it as a big "loop".

no you cant just dump into the overflow tank, you will drain your entire cooling system.(remeber its presurized)

just loop from the first circle in the pic to the turbo and then back to the second cirlce in the pic. the water pump will handle the rest
