water/air Intercoolers(aftercoolers)
 

It seems that the 2 most important things for intercoolers are
1) how much the cool the air and
2) how much pressure loss they cause. Water to air

intercoolers or after coolers cool the air more and you lose a lot less pressure so is the reason ppl go with standard air/air intercoolers is cause they are much cheaper? Why would someone spend 200 on a spearco intercooler when a aftercooler is a bit more expensive but better? Ah looking at prices i am almost sure now that ppl go air/air b/c of price.

Yeah. An Air/Water intercooler required pumps and hoses and water tanks and crap. Plus they weight a ton. The upside? Two words "Dry Ice"

I fail to see how they weight a ton as some big intercoolers can be heavy and the radiator for an air/water is small( ya i know ther are more elements to it). As for ice with air/water it is nothing but sweet am sure.

You figure that and air/air is lightweight tubing and fins, and thats about all there is to it. Air/Water involves gallons of water, hoses, pumps, heat exchanger, reseviors. They weight a lot more, even compared to a huge front mount.

Don't forget the bling factor of the front mount. I think a well put together water to air kit will make alot more power than an air to air and cost about the same.
