T-bird has the IHI, the Merkur and SVO have the Garrett, that ad is for the Garret, it's better.

Are you blind? It says .48 A/R. .48 A/R on the compressor side isn't a standard T3 size. It's a T25 from a sabb or volvo or something, because it has that 3 bolt downpipe connection, with the wastegate integrated into the housing.

almost right. T-bird had both depending on year.

But that is no T3. Looks to be a T25.

You 100% sure on that? I heard the T-Bird allways had the IHI. Somthing about it being a heavy turd and Ford wanted the faster spooling turbo in it to give the feeling of tourq.

Yes, I've pulled all 3 from T-Birds at the junkyard.

FORD T-Bird 85-86 2.3L (auto) GAR (AiR) TB0344 (45 trim oil only)

FORD T-Bird 85-86 2.3L (Manual) GAR (AiR) TB03 60 trim (watercooled)

FORD T-Bird 87-88 (water) IHI RHB52
