Default wastegate vac

i am wondering my e-01 says if running an external wastegate to run the stepping valve vac line to the top of the wastegate but i see everyone running the vac to the bottom port on the xs power ones do i follow the e-01 instructutions and just plug the bottom port up or what.

so according to this i have to use both ports lower from throttle body and top for my stepping valve correct? that diagram was kind of cornfusing but somewhat got it.well i have everything the way it says but im missing the lowere banjo fitting for the lower vac line not sure if homedepot or hardware store would have any other places to try?

I never had to hook one up but yea according to that I think you need both, and i think homedepot or lowes has them

ive never hooked them up the way that picture says .. i run a the vac of the inlet of the turbo straight to the ebc then straight to the w/g .. i'm sure going off of the turbo will do the same thing it will just read the boost sooner .. anyone notice any difference thats done it both ways ??
