wastegate on Upper Intercooler piping?

ok heres my thought tell me why it will or wont work.....

I have a 95 civic... i blew my motor at 7psi...withing 2 months....i dropped int the z6 motor... and rebuilt it... I didnt have the money to do anything fancy i just wanted a good solid motor... Well it turns out i got a turbo and intercooler for free.. and want to boost again.. Except i would be happy with 3psi.. I dont wanna boost high on stock internals cause i drive this car everywhere and dont wanna blow another engine.. I had the hf manifold rebuild 14b 450 a/f hack.. fmic... the works.... But i only Want 2-4 psi..... Will this work?

Since the wastegate on a 14b is set at 7-8psi.... can i also put a wastegate on Upper charge pipes before the BOV... and put a custom spring on it to open at 2-4 psi?
I will boost higher later... but not till i either purchase another car or build internals of current engine.... I dont wanna modify the actuater arm cause i think thats ghetto and i want homemade not ghettomade... lol . Any thoughts on how to do a 2-3 psi. Will my idea work.. I was gonna try and to a G60 custom Supercharger setup.. but those centrifugal supercharges are a bit pricy.. Thanks Brian

7-8 psi is fine if you have enough fuel. you thing lengthening an arm is ghetto but rigging up some sort of bypass valve isnt? go out and get a different actuator if you really care (one that opens at like 5 psi and then hook it up off the comp housing for a few less psi maybe)

Man, I think you should put a radiator cap mounted on your IC pipes, that would work sweet.. Just get one that opens at like 6psi.

::)

You shouldnt be blowing your motor @ 7psi w/ 450's.. back your timing down stud!
