Default wastegate t25

I know that to lower boost with the internal wastegate you have to lengthen the wastegate arm. I don't have a picture but on my t25 the wastegate arm has a bend in it, could I just bend this straight making the arm longer which would then lower my boost? Thanks ahead

I would think it would lower it some yes. It wouldn't really be very adjustable though. Probably just easier to thread the rod for adjustments.

Hmm. How about adding washers between the wastegate bracket and the mounting base? that should "lengthen" the arm a bit right... or am i thinking the wrong way?
