Wastegate question
I have disconnected the wastegate acutator arm and the wastegate lever. I now make no boost. This was my goal. However, can anything be hurt by doing this? Somone on honda tech said i might be "overspooling" . Anyway, any thoughts or opinions on this would be great. Im just wondering if anything is going wrong that im not aware of. THanks...
and also, i have some pics i would like to post, do i have to put them on a website or seomthing first? can somone plz tell me how do this..(im a web newb) thanks

Re:Wastegate question
Nope, I dont see how it could over rev the turbo, if the wastegate is always open, this is when the turbo is spinning up the least amount (thus making no boost)
Now lets say if you have no charge pipes hooked up. and you are driving around (with a wastegate & wastegate actuator hooked up normally) YES, you can over-rev the turbo, because the wastegate will never open.
